STORY
The Taylor family has farmed in the Errol area for around 100 years, spanning four generations of Taylors. From potato farming, washing and packing, the Taylors made a move into crisps in 2009. They entered a partnership with Mackie’s of Scotland, marrying the Mackie’s brand with the Taylors’ crisps, bringing Mackies Crisps to market.
The range has grown and expanded significantly since the late noughties with popcorn being added in 2015, and healthy snacks (lentil waves) in2019. In 2022, the Taylors worked closely with Mackies on a buy-out deal so they could take on full responsibility of the snacks brand.
As 2023 progresses, the new Taylors Snacks branding rolls out across the entire product range, to reflect the Taylor family’s ownership.
