Noble Ingredients
That’s why, at La Sablésienne, our recipes contain no additives, colorings, preservatives, or GMOs. Our raw materials are noble ingredients that come mainly from the West of France.
Hand-Picked Cookies
At La Sablésienne, the biscuits are still baked on metal baking sheets and picked by hand, just as they were over 50 years ago. The people involved bring all their knowledge to the daily making of the biscuits, as well as all their passion to creating new, delicious recipes that have the good taste of childhood.
French Art Of Living
La Sablésienne prides itself on maintaining and perfecting the recipes of the French biscuit tradition. Its range of biscuits is based on three specialties of French culinary heritage.

The Little Shortbread
The round, serrated and crunchy shortbread, the famous Petit Sablé comes in several flavors to the delight of young and old gourmets.
The shaping
The shortbread dough is first prepared in a traditional way by the pastry chefs at La Sablesienne using natural ingredients that are kneaded to create a smooth dough. The small shortbreads are then shaped, stamped, and placed on metal plates.
Cooking

Then the little shortbreads are baked and after a few minutes, they come out golden and crispy just how we like them.
The Collection

The small shortbreads are then delicately picked by hand and packaged in bags, cases and metal boxes to be shipped to our customers in France and all over the world.
Our Biscuits
La Sablésienne makes the authentic Sablé de Sablé-Sur-Sarthe, round, serrated, crunchy, and made with pure fresh butter. The recipe has been passed down from generation to generation in the town whose name it bears.
